Course Objectives

Participants will explore how Collaborative Documentation (CD) enhances client engagement, improves documentation accuracy, and supports person-centered care.

  • Learn the purpose, benefits, and ethical considerations of CD especially when working with children, adolescents and their families.

  • Demonstrate practical strategies for introducing and implementing CD during sessions, including age-appropriate techniques for engaging youth.

  • Identify common barriers to CD and apply best practices and technology tools to overcome these challenges within clinical settings.

About the Presenter

Christina Slobodian, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Christina Slobodian is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and former kindergarten teacher with over a decade of experience in Philadelphia schools. During her years in the classroom, she discovered a deep passion for supporting children’s social-emotional development as a foundation for learning and success. This passion led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling, after which she served as a Family-Based clinician, working closely with at-risk families to strengthen the entire family unit. Building on this experience, Christina transitioned to a role as a school counselor within CGRC’s elementary education program. In her current position, she provides comprehensive support to both students and staff and enjoys the meaningful opportunity to supervise and mentor counseling interns.

Intended for Psychologists, Behavioral Health Providers, School-Based Clinicians, Graduate Students, and others who maintain documentation of treatment & services.
